Private Commissions
Created for your space
A fully bespoke silk commission, built around the identity of a single space and made to exist nowhere else.
We work with interior designers, architects, museums, and hospitality groups on private
commissions that begin with an original artwork and end with a piece that belongs entirely to the room it was made for.
Every commission is different. The artist, the scale, the palette, the finish - all of it shaped by
the space and the story you want it to tell.
Five steps from first conversation to finished piece.
01 — The brief We begin with a conversation about your project: the space, the atmosphere you are building, the feeling you want a visitor to have when they walk into the room. There are no forms to fill in, just a dialogue about what the commission needs to achieve.
02 — Artist selection Based on your brief, we select an artist from our international roster whose work, cultural depth, and visual language are the right fit for the space. We present our recommendation with context — who the artist is, what their work says, and why we believe they are right for this project. You have the final word.
03 — Design development Working closely with our artistic director, the chosen artist develops the commission. The original artwork is adapted specifically for the dimensions, proportions, and context of your space — not resized, but genuinely rethought for where it will live. You will see the work at each stage and be part of the conversation throughout.
04 — Production in Como Every private commission is produced on premium silk in Como, Italy, the same ateliers and the same standards as our main collections. Colour, finish, and scale are verified at every stage of production to ensure the final piece is exactly what was agreed.
05 — Delivery The finished piece, or series of pieces, is delivered ready to install. We handle the full production process so that what arrives is complete, considered, and exactly as envisioned.
Private commissions are accepted on a selective basis. If you are working on a space that deserves something singular — a hotel, a restaurant, a private residence, a members' club — we would like to hear about it.
