lhak Altıparmak (born 1990, Erzurum) is an artist whose autobiographical and intuitive practice investigates the conflicts surrounding gender, identity, and societal norms. After completing undergraduate studies in Graphic Design at Atatürk University and a master's in Painting from Düzce University, Altıparmak treats the psychological realm of the individual as a primary material, exploring the halos of meaning that form around objects, spaces, and the body. Their recent work delves into queer identity, frequently utilizing textile materials like thread and fabric in their production.
