Hiba Aizouq, born in Salamiye, Syria in 1986 and now residing and working at CerModern in Ankara, Türkiye, is a fine arts graduate of Damascus University's Gravure department. Her work is profoundly inspired by the human condition, capturing the expressive relationship between individuals and their surroundings through the lens of her personal experience as a long-term diaspora artist. Executing her pieces primarily in acrylic paint, Aizouq has built a robust exhibition record, participating in a wide range of solo and collective endeavors, including art exhibitions and social initiatives across Syria, Türkiye, and internationally.
