Fiann Redd

Fiann Redd (b. 1992) is a Danish-American multidisciplinary artist working across painting, sound, and film. Self-taught, his practice centers on a direct, material engagement with image-making, often using found materials and supports such as glass, paper, and fabric. Working between Denmark, France, and the United States, he moves fluidly between figuration and abstraction, where forms emerge, dissolve, and reconfigure through instinctive gesture and repetition.

Rooted in an ongoing dialogue with art history while resisting fixed narratives, Redd’s work explores tension, distortion, and inner landscapes shaped by memory and perception. His paintings function as both autonomous objects and fragments of a larger evolving visual language.
