Erdem Çolak
Erdem Çolak is a multidisciplinary artist and Associate Professor of Cultural Studies in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Middle East Technical University. He holds doctorate degrees, respectively, from the School of Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam and the Institute of Social Sciences at Ankara University. In addition to three solo exhibitions in Amsterdam and Ankara, his works have been included in numerous exhibitions, including Bienalsur, the Izmir Mediterranean Biennial, and the Mamut Art Project. His academic research interests include contemporary art history, visual studies, memory studies, cultural policies, and political aesthetics. He continues his artistic production in his personal studio in Ankara.
