The source
The source is a collection that emphasizes the visual symmetry between primitive underwater life forms and the serendipity of details in watercolor and ink paintings. The evolution of life began in water, almost as a rebellion against environmental constraints. The force of life continually invented ways to form a giant ecosystem, resulting in unexpected symbioses among diverse creatures and various modes of movement, multiplication, colony formation, transformation, and adaptation. In the watercolor paintings, pigments move and mix along routes shaped by the flow of water, mimicking the actions of life and creating an unforeseeable mixture of textures, colors, and shapes. The ink lines mindfully emphasize their dance, replicating the complex order hidden in fluidity. With various atmospheric color alternatives, the collection offers a range of hues for observing these magical moments.
