Anouk Klajnman is a Paris-based textile and visual artist whose practice explores dreamlike landscapes where reality is distorted and reinvented. Currently in her third year of textile design studies, having previously studied philosophy and literature, she develops a personal language of symbols and magic through a mixed-media approach that encompasses painting, drawing, and textile. Her vibrant, lush worlds are populated by beings with shifting contours, existing between animal and human, inviting viewers into a wonderful elsewhere where the unexpected becomes familiar. Rooted in themes of the unconscious and the balance between dream and reality, her burgeoning work reflects an ongoing curiosity to expand her research through new mediums and collaborations.
